This weekend Julya and Tommy got married. What an incredible day! The weather was beautiful. And the couple? Well, decide for yourselves with this sneak peek. All I can say is stunning.
Amy and Scott are the couple that remind me why I love my job. When I post their wedding, I’ll explain why.
For now, be amazed by this gorgeous light. It had rained all day and the sun decided to peak just in time for pictures. I was ever so grateful. More to come.
The first time I met Whitney and Matt was over video chat. Seriously. Although we tried to meet ahead of time, it wasn’t easy since Whitney and Matt live in Maryland. So, we improvised with a video consultation a few weeks prior to the wedding. Without having an e-session or meeting prior to the wedding, it can be difficult to make a connection. But the video chat made a big difference. I hadn’t thought about using it before, but its a great alternative if needed. So, lesson for all you brides out there: if you can’t meet with some of your vendors ahead of time or you are planning from far away, try a google video chat or Skype.
So, I wanted to point out three things I loved about this wedding:
1. Matt and Whitney… Something about these two just screams romance to me. (They’ll probably laugh that I said that, but trust me, you two. Its there).
2. The Belvedere- truly gorgeous venue and amazing service.
3. Whitney has impeccable taste.
This was my first wedding in Baltimore and I hope to have more, especially if it means working with couples like Whitney and Matt.
While the guys waited for a very late party bus, I took lemons and made lemonade.
Sweet sister moment. Being a sister, I truly appreciate this picture. So cute.
Perfect weather for beach pictures. More of this beach blue sky coming soon!
It had rained all day. As it threatened their out door ceremony, Scott and Amy had to decide: Should they move their outdoor, lakefront ceremony indoors? Amy, in full giddy excitement, declared “I don’t care. In an hour, I’m marrying Scott!” Scott was like an anxious kid waiting to see her and didn’t mind moving their vows in doors. The staff at Frogbridge hustled to adjust for the change in plans. (Windows on the Water at Frogbridge has the BEST grounds for wedding pictures. Not to mention the exceptional service. CHECK IT OUT!).
Everything about this wedding screamed Amy and Scott. The funny, intimate, emotional ceremony. The cheery, earthy flowers. The playful grounds at the venue. The candy bar and cupcakes (check out the cupcake toppers!). Scott even built a tree shaped cupcake stand! You can only imagine how much fun Scott and Amy are to be around. Every single person at this wedding was grinning from ear to ear, laughing and dancing. As for Scott and Amy, well… they beamed, exuding pure love and happiness.
That’s why they make me love what I do.
Yesterday’s wedding was AMAZING!! Stay tuned for more!
Stay tuned for this truly unique session!
