  • hello and welcome!

My blog is a library of stories . . . stories of people, life, and love.  The best part of my job is getting to know my clients and capturing their personalities with my camera.  I love pictures that show genuine emotion or an intimate moment.

I also love my husband, family & friends, books by Jane Green, wildwood, autumn leaves, the holiday spirit, a good pair of jeans, dancing, old school nintendo, twizzlers, and singing in the car... not necessarily in that particular order.  :)

That's just a little part of my story.  As you browse through my blog, you'll learn a little more about me and my style of photography.  Maybe one day, I can tell your story!

Thanks to Onada Photography for my sweet profile pic!

Evelyn and Chris: Engaged! | New Jersey Engagement Photographer

The sweetest couple ever.  That’s the best way I can describe Evelyn and Chris.  I don’t know if they ever stop smiling at each other.  They are absolutely smitten and I loved this session.  It was completely overcast and drizzinling on and off.  Of course, that can make for some amazing light and gorgeous shots.  So, I really didn’t mind.   We started at Shark River Park where Chris proposed to Evelyn, then headed over to a beach nearby.  I loved their proposal story, so I decided to share it in Evelyn’s words:

“Chris took me and his parents dog (Autumn) for a picnic in the park.  We walked the park and then found a spot to sit and eat lunch.  We were taking pictures of the dog.  Then Chris said he wanted to take a picture of us, so he put the camera on timer to take  it.  To my surprise he actually put it on video got on one knee and asked me to marry him. So I was very shocked and happy:) and he got it all on video.”

Good job Chris!  So excited for your wedding later this year!

Alex and Matt- Hitched! | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Some weddings remind me how much I love what I do.  Alex and  Matt’s wedding made me think that over and over again.  As a couple they were so amazing to work with because they could be serious one minute and goofy the next (see the fish face photo below).  Additionally, the come from amazing families and nothing was more apparent that day.  Love completely filled the room and people danced all night to the sounds of Big Ric & Vegas of EBE.

Clearly this couple has exquisite taste, which was well executed thanks to the fabulous wedding planner Gina Sole and floral designs by Kathy from TableArt.  I loved shooting at the Union League.  Truly all involved are great people!

Congrats to Alex and Matt!

Its Okay, Flyers. We still love you. | Philadelphia Newlywed Photographer

So, I waited to post this for fear I’d jinx the Flyers… and in the end it didn’t matter.

This session was originally supposed to be Matt and Shannon’s engagement session but we couldn’t get into the Wachovia Center in time.  When we had the chance to do it, we went anyway and it was awesome. While we walked around during our private tour, Preston and Steve were filming an episode for Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  One of the actors from the show and a west coast producer were there too.  Matt, a fan of both the radio show and the tv show, was obviously thrilled.  These huge flyers fans were loving every minute of their tour.  Thanks so much Katie for the tour.  We had a blast!

Fred and Danielle – Engaged! | Philadelphia Engagement Photographer

Fred and Danielle got engaged in Olde City after a carriage ride.  So, we returned to the scene and even hoped on a carriage ride (a first for me).  It was unusually warm on this spring day, making it a perfect day for an e-sesh.

Christy and Rob’s Wedding | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Christy and Rob were all smiles the day of their early spring wedding.  They couldn’t have been happier.  I just loved how they glowed in each others presence.  Congratulations to you both!  Here are a few of my favorite images from their gorgeous wedding day:
