These next set of pictures are some of my all-time favorites. I just love how this couple interacts with each other. It exemplifies True Love.

One of my favorite parts of the night was the cake cutting! Matt really let her have it!

Matt didn’t get off easy either!

The look on their faces says it all!

But they had a good laugh about it!

The room may be filled with people, but to this couple- it’s as if the rest of the world has disappeared.

Congrats to Shannon & Matt! This was my last wedding of 2009 and most memorable. Shannon is known to get caught up in the emotion of the moment. Knowing this, I was fully prepared to capture her raw emotion! I’m blogging this in two posts, because I’m having a hard time picking my favorites. So, stay tuned!!

Ahhh… the wonderful smell of a new year! Smells like a newly turned over leaf. I’ve set some business goals for 2010 and I’ve booked more weddings than planned! As I started to look ahead, I reviewed the past year in disbelief at how fast this all happened. Launching this business is by far one of my biggest accomplishments. As I’m writing this, I realize how much it sounds like an acceptance speech for a Grammy award. HA! But since the odds of me winning one are slim-to-none, I’m taking this opportunity to acknowledge a few special people, without the interruption music.
My Amazing Husband, Rob- You had faith and believed in me, even when I felt unsure of myself. Once it took off, you put up with SO much!
You know how I can be when I’m working against a deadline or feeling overwhelmed, and you handle it with TONS of patience. Thank you for your endless support.
My Dad- There is no guessing where my entrepreneur gene came from. All those discussions helped me get a handle on how to get my business going and keep it going. You never had a doubt about this adventure and you saw potential immediately. All your positive words helped build my confidence so I could make this dream a reality.
Bola- You are really the one to “blame” for all this! I mean that in the BEST way possible. Its amazing that you went from being my photographer to friend to mentor. Thanks for shoving me into this business, because I wouldn’t have dove in on my own! You never cease to inspire me! I love working with you, but I’m SO excited to be a guest at your wedding!
There are a few more people I’d like to acknowledge but I’ll try to keep it brief: Barbi for getting me some awesome clients and nagging me to see the latest pics. Melissa and “Aunt” Nancy for being excited to look at each new blog post. Theresa for being an amazing assistant/sister/friend! Kerri for making several photo shoots much more fun. To all my family & friends who have shown me support, encouragement and excitement.
Finally, to all my fantastic clients! Thank you for trusting me with your special moments. I’m so glad I got to know each one of you. For my 2010 clients, I’m very excited to work with you! Here’s a sneak peek at my last wedding of 2009… one of the most memorable events I’ll ever photograph.

Meet Alexandra and Matt… And Fonzi! I drove up to Hoboken where Alex and Matt live with their adorable dog Fonzi. It was my first time visiting the town and I loved it! The views of Manhattan were amazing! They’ll be getting married this April in Philly and I’m SUPER excited for their wedding.

Meet Krystin and Chris! These high school sweethearts are getting married in a few short weeks. They’ve been very busy this year traveling the country, since Chris is a minor league baseball player. So, we had to wait till the season was over to do this session. We met up last month at a park in South Jersey. Here a few pictures from the session. Enjoy!

I can’t mention which park we were at, because they busted the fence! But we had a good laugh over it!

I love her ring! Gorgeous, simple, and unique!!

I thought this was the perfect session to blog about this week. It was all about family and autumn fun. The parents were so playful with the kids. The kids were happy campers and even their grandfather stepped in for a few shots.
Enjoy!

Meet Lisa. She’s a musician whose style is a combination of pop, folk and rock. I’ve known Lisa for a little while now and her talent is amazing! I’ll admit I’m a little jealous… I mean who wouldn’t want to have musical talent?! Speaking of which, her producer Clay is unbelieveable. He has a great ear for music and he can play a number of instruments. Clay is also a member of the LP Stiles band (their music is featured on my website).
I think it started as a joke when Lisa asked “When are you going to shoot my next CD cover?” But we made it happen and it was a ton of fun. Lisa will be posting pics on her website and hopefully using them on the release of her next CD. Check out Lisa’s website by visiting http://lisarocks.net.

I recently took some headshots for Egondu (one of my bride’s from earlier this year). I was so happy when she contacted me to do this shoot. I love when brides keep in touch! This was a fun shoot and the light was amazing. Here’s a few shots from the session:

On a gorgeous day last month, I had a session with an old friend and her adorable family. It was the first time I’d seen Jill in years and she looked amazing. Jill and her husband are perfect together. They have so much celebrate: their little boy is turning one and they have a baby girl on the way! Congratulations on your beautiful and growing family!

This little guy felt sand for the first time! You can almost imagine his thought process. “Hmm, whats this stuff? … Oh, this is gonna be good and messy… Look Ma, its on my hands! … Yup. Definitely messy. Time for a diaper change!”

I’ve been so busy with sessions and editing that I almost forgot to post this wedding! I second shot this wedding with Bola of Onada Photography at the beginning of September. Ndidi and Gunnar are two of the nicest people. They are both doctors, from two very different backgrounds. Ndidi is Nigerian and Gunnar is German. They had family and friends fly in from all over the world for this multi-cultural celebration! This was a great experience for me and I’m so glad I could be there for it (Thanks Bola!) Ndidi & Gunnar: Congratulations and best wishes to you both!

I absolutely loved her shoes!

Paying tribute to the German culture, the newlyweds performed a traditional German log sawing ceremony also known as Baumstamm Sägen, symbolizing the first tough task the couple will accomplish.

As you can see, they did a great job completing this task!!
